Today, Alanis Morissette has not only dropped a new song " Reasons I Drink" which features backing upbeat sounds that hint to dark lyrics about her dependencies on alcohol, but also announced a 31 stop national tour! It is her 25th anniversary of her groundbreaking album " Jagged Little Pill" which was pretty much the soundtrack to my teenage years. I grew up listening to her a lot considering my mom primarily listens to 90's and 80's hits. I have screamed the lyrics to " You Oughta Know" and "Hand In My Pocket" way too many times and now I get to look forward to seeing her in concert hopefully in June 2020 with my mom!

While her new single is a little concerning, It is so refreshing to hear her back creating music and announcing her new tour. She is such a talented artist and I look forward to her new album that is due to release spring 2020.
